Katy Basketball Association (KBA), formed in 2003, is an umbrella organization supporting boys and girls competitive basketball teams 9u through high school eligible in the Katy area and beyond. Our objective is to provide an opportunity for players to develop and improve their basketball knowledge and skills to compete at the highest level and to develop their education and character. Our season generally runs from March to July with some teams playing into August. KBA has enjoyed steady growth and success; in 2007, our 16u team won the Basketball Congress International national championship. As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and AAU member, KBA is directed by an all volunteer staff who give many hours of their personal time to the players, families, and the organization.
